In high school he was a member of his school's drama club, 'The Masquers.' He later became a cast member of the short-lived sketch-comedy series Madhouse Brigade in 1978.

Family Life
He married first wife, television producer Nancy Jones in 1973. His second wife, Kimberly Driscoll, filed for divorce on July 10, 2006. He has four children: Olivia, Alexandra, Joey and Michael.
