The National Super Alliance Chief Principal Raila Odinga has revealed that he will be sworn-in as Kenyan president on December 12,2017.

The Opposition leader said that he will be sworn-in as president by the Peoples Assembly.

According to Raila,the Peoples Assembly will swear him in as president to lead Kenyans.

“Uhuru Kenyatta is not the president of Kenya. We do not recognise the October 28 election, that was a fake election. 83% of the population boycotted the election,” Raila said while addressing his supporters near Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi’s Eastlands area ,just minutes after Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in to office for his second term.

''You all know Raila Odinga is not a coward… In Uganda, (Kizza) Besigye was sworn in as president, last week, Mnangagwa was also sworn in but we’ll not do it like Besigye, we will do it like Mnangagwa where he was sworn in and got into State House.I will be sworn in and go to State House.''he added.

TUKO.co.ke has learnt that Raila Odinga’s swearing-in by the people assembly will fall on December 12,2017, as the country celebrates Jamhuri Day.

Raila’s public declaration came barely hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn-in for his second term in office.

As reported by TUKO.co.ke earlier, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto were inaugurated on Tuesday, November 28 2017,in an auspicious event held at the Kasarani Stadium.

Uhuru was declared president after trumping Raila Odinga in both August 8, and October 26, fresh presidential election.

However, Raila Odinga and NASA held that Uhuru was not elected fairly and that they did not recognize him as president
