The mystery surrounding the life of late former cabinet minister Nicholas Biwott seems to be following him in death too.
TUKO.co.ke has learnt that it has been hard to keep tabs on Biwott's funeral arrangements as his family have kept mum on the issue.
The family had appointed Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich as its spokesman to brief the country on the funeral plans but till now, no updates had been made.

According to the Daily Nation, tracing the home of the late powerful minister in Nairobi has been a tall order as government officials and journalists have been directed to two homes.
Journalists were recently kicked out from Biwott's home after spending hours tracing it.
“I have been firmly advised against allowing you in,
“They told me to tell the media people that they don’t need you for now. But the moment they need you, they will call and it is only then that I will allow you in. Sit on the roadside and wait for the call or go away until you’re are called,'' Daily Nation journalist's were told by security officer guarding Biwott's home.
The viewing of Biwott's body has also been engulfed by mystery and drama with the family locking out people including journalists from seeing his body at Lee Funeral Home.
Only close family members were allowed during the viewing session at the upscale mortuary.

Biwott, was the most powerful cabinet minister during the reign of Daniel Arap Moi.
He was nicknamed the 'Total Man' for his no nonsense approach to national politics and proximity to the seat of power.
Biwott died on Tuesday, July 11, at a Nairobi hospital after being ill for a longtime.
